Most chairs give you a flat seat and leave the rest to you. This cushion does some of the work instead. Each hip settles into its own shaped hollow, a channel runs down the middle, and a strap underneath lets you set how wide it sits, so it fits you rather than the other way round.

Why you'll love it

Made to your shape: pull the strap underneath tighter or looser to bring the two sides in or spread them out.
Two shaped hollows hold your hips, so you sit into the cushion instead of perching on top of it.
A U-shaped channel at the back keeps the tailbone area clear when you lean back.
A vent on each side and the open channel let air through on long days at the desk.
It stays put: the base has non-slip dots, and at around 630 g it is easy to carry between chairs.

How it feels

You sit into it rather than onto it. Your hips find the two hollows, the foam gives slowly under you, and the raised edges come up around you a little. It is deeper than a flat pad, so the first thing you notice is that you are sitting a touch higher, on something that has a shape of its own.

Who it's for

For people who spend long stretches in one chair, whether that is a desk chair at work or a dining chair at home, and want a cushion with real depth and shape, not a thin layer. The strap makes it a good choice if you have found other cushions too narrow or too wide. If most of your hours are spent behind the wheel, keep in mind that at 14 cm deep it will lift you higher in a driver's seat.

Care

Unzip the cover to take it off. We recommend washing it gently by hand and letting it dry fully before you put it back on. The foam inside isn't washable: if it needs freshening up, spot-clean it with a damp cloth and let it air. Like most new memory foam, it can have a light smell straight out of the box; leave it somewhere airy for a day or two and it fades.

Frequently asked questions

Will the colour match the photos exactly?

Very closely, but there may be a slight difference because of lighting and screen settings. Whichever colour you choose, the top is that colour and the sides are light grey.

Will it fit my chair?

It measures 48 cm wide and 39 cm deep. Measure your seat before you order: if it is at least that size, the cushion has room to sit flat. The strap changes how wide the two sides sit, to suit your shape.

It is 14 cm deep. Will I sit too high?

You will sit higher than on a bare chair. If your chair adjusts, lowering it a little keeps your feet flat and the desk at a comfortable height.

Can I return it if it isn't right for me?

Yes. You have 30 days from delivery to return it. The steps are in our refund policy, linked under the Add to cart button.
