donut-seat-cushion-memory-foam
Memory Foam Donut Seat Cushion, Ring Cushion for Office Chairs

Some people spend the day behind the wheel of a lorry. Others spend it at an office desk. Either way it is the same seat for hours, and by mid-afternoon you can feel exactly where you sit. This ring cushion is made for those long stretches: you sit on a ring of memory foam, and the centre stays open underneath you.

Why you'll love it

You sit on the ring, not on the middle, so nothing presses up into the centre of the seat.

A cut-out at the back leaves the tailbone area clear when you sit back in the chair.

Shaped zones under each thigh spread your weight across the whole cushion.

Slow-rebound memory foam moulds under you and returns to shape when you stand up.

A soft, perforated cover lets air move through on long days.

Product information

Filling

Slow-rebound memory foam

Size

45 × 40 × 8 cm

Shape

Ring with open centre and rear cut-out

Cover

Velvet, perforated, with zip

Colour

Dark blue, smoke grey or mocha

Use

Office and desk chairs, car and cab seats with a padded base

How it feels

You sit down and the ring takes your weight first, around the edges instead of in the middle. The foam gives slowly and settles into your shape, and the hollow in the centre stays open. It is a small change you notice most in the second half of the day, when a flat seat usually starts to feel like it is pushing back.

Who it's for

For anyone whose work keeps them in one seat for hours: drivers on long runs, people at a desk from nine to six, anyone who would rather sit on an even ring than in the middle of a flat cushion.

Care

Unzip the cover to take it off. We recommend washing it gently by hand and letting it dry fully before you put it back on. The foam inside isn't washable: if it needs freshening up, spot-clean it with a damp cloth and let it air. Like most new memory foam, it can have a light smell straight out of the box; leave it somewhere airy for a day or two and it fades.

Frequently asked questions

Will the colour match the photos exactly?

Very closely, but there may be a slight difference from the photos because of lighting and screen settings.

Will it work in a car or lorry?

It sits on most padded driver's seats. Before you drive, check that it does not lift you so high that your mirrors, pedals or seatbelt sit differently.

Will it flatten?

Memory foam softens under body heat, which is how it shapes itself to you. It sits best on a padded seat. On a hard seat, or for a heavier build, you may feel it compress more.

Can I return it if it isn't right for me?

Yes.
